Universities hold the pulse of society, providing guidance and fostering nation-building and social development. Globally, there are 29,347 universities. Pakistan, with 230 million people, has only 259 universities, of which 128 (83 Public & 45 Private) are recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. However, very few offer quality education, and nearly none impart value-based learning. The rising cost of education, especially after COVID-19 and recent brain drain from Pakistan, poses a serious challenge for potential students. Many Pakistani universities have become degree-awarding entities focused on material gains, and are failing to provide education aligned with 21st-century skills. In this context, Fatimiyah International University (FiU) aims to be the first value-based education hub in Pakistan, nurturing professionally competent and morally sound students. This vision was initiated by KPSIAJ with the establishment Fatimiyah Institute of Education Sciences (FIES) in 2011. FIES is accredited by the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE). KPSIAJ, a non-profit organization accredited by various governmental authorities, also manages the Fatimiyah Education Network (FEN) in Karachi. FHES was formally established in October 2022 as a precursor to FiU with the generous support of few philanthropists, led by Mr. Riaz Premjee, Mr Ayaz Thaver, Mr Ali Hussain Rajabali & Mr Ghulam Abbas Jumani and unrelenting patronage of World Federation. Fatimiyah International University (FiU) aspires to be an internationally recognized institution, offering world-class education with a value-based approach. The transition from national to international standards will be executed in phases. KPSIAJ’s educational legacy dates back to 1965.

FiU stands out by blending cutting-edge academic programs with a strong ethical foundation, aiming to cultivate leaders who will drive positive societal change. It embodies innovation and values, setting new educational benchmarks.
