Prof. Dr. Syed Nisar Hussain Hamdani is a distinguished economist, academic leader, and the pioneering mind behind Divine Economics—a globally recognized framework linking values, ethics, and economic behaviour. With over 35 years of experience in higher education, he has served as Dean, Director, founding head of multiple academic units, and advisor to national and international bodies.
A PhD from Quad-i-Azam University and Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and the London School of Economics, Dr. Hamdani has contributed extensively to curriculum development, institutional reforms, policy design, and quality assurance in Pakistan’s higher education sector. His work has influenced HEC policies, teacher education reforms, and values-based education models.
He has delivered lectures worldwide, supervised numerous PhD and MPhil scholars, organized international conferences, and led major development, research, and community projects.
